About the event
Lone Star Skynyrd isn't just another tribute band we are the ultimate tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd, delivering an electrifying and authentic Southern rock experience that keeps audiences on their feet. As the official band of the Lynyrd Skynyrd Monument in Gillsburg, Mississippi, personally handpicked by the Skynyrd organization, we are also the only Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band with the support of Johnny Van Zant and the Van Zant family. Our dedication has earned us national recognition, including being named "Tribute Band of the Year" at the 2022 Grand Ole Opry in Nashville by the prestigious Josie Music Awards, where we have also been nominated three times.
